The 2nd International Staff Week at BUT (Brno University of Technology), held from 18th till 22nd May 2015, has been organized by Silvie Doubravska and others from BUT International Relations Departments in Brno (Brünn), Czech Republic.

A new ERASMUS+ Programme between Liepaja University in Latvia (www.liepu.lv) and Rostock University in Germany (www.uni-rostock.de) will be established. Patriks Morevs, head of office 'International Relationship at University of Liepaja', and Erasmus coordinator Reinhard Mahnke from Rostock meet Jevgenijs Kaupuzs (Liepaja und Riga) to discuss the inter-institutional agreement.

Prof. Ludwik Turko and Prof. David Blaschke, both from Institute of Theoretical Physics at Faculty of Physics and Astronomy at Uniwersytet Wroclawski (PL WROCLAW01) did a one-week ERASMUS Teaching Programme in Quantum Electrodynamics at Rostock University, Institute of Physics, starting from 30th of June 2014.

Visit as 'Erasmus Staff Training' at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at University of Maribor in Slovenia. Reinhard Mahnke meets Faculty Erasmus coordinator Natasa Pipenbacher (Biology) and Robert Repnik (Physics) as well as Eva Skruba and Lidija Sosic from the International Relations Office.

From 20th of july to 4th of August 2013 the Baltic Summer School of Technical Informatics and information Technology BASOTI 2013 at Vilnius Tech (Vilnius Gediminas Technical University) took place. During the International Week, 26-30 November 2012, there were seminars, a student fair, a film screening and activities arranged by the Student Union. The purpose of the International Week was to inspire and inform local students about the possibilities going abroad as exchange students.

There were many activities, but the most important one was a student fair where you had the opportunity to meet representatives from 22 universities, 6 embassies and 28 country specific information tables staffed by international students.

The upper photo shows Benedikt Ehard (exchange student from Rostock University) together with Reinhard Mahnke (departmental Erasmus coordinator at Rostock Institute of Physics) at the student exchange fair on 27th November 2012 at Stockholm University.

The other photo (not shown) is a snapshot of Helena Overina (former head of international office) from Rezeknes University College, Latvia and Erasmus exchange student Judith Kahrer representing Fachhochschule (FH) Hagenberg, near Linz, Austria.

From 17th to 21st of September 2012 the First International Week for Non-Teaching and Teaching Staff Erasmus Week 2012 at Ventspils University College (Ventspils Augstskola) took place. The aim of Erasmus week 2012 is to learn how to attract exchange students, as well as new forms of cooperation. See program here.
